Earn Up to 7,500 Free Spirit Points with “More Fly” Promotion

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with ultra-low-cost air travel. For some people (the extra frugal and families), it can be an effective way to travel across North America at a low price. Just in time for Fall travel, Spirit Airlines is offering a new promotion to give Free Spirit travelers even more points for their next trip.

What’s the “More Fly Points Promotion?”

Spirit calls it their “most rewarding Free Spirit promotion ever,” offering up to 7,500 points just for regular travel. To qualify, Free Spirit members must first register by logging into their account at spirit.com/promotion.

From there, the points are divided into two actions. For booking and flying a roundtrip itinerary between October 2 and November 20, 2025, flyers can earn 5,000 bonus Free Spirit bonus points. But if they travel on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday, they will earn another 2,500 Free Spirit bonus points, for a total of 7,500 points. The full is deposited in the flyer’s Free Spirit account within six weeks of completing the travel.

The bonus is in addition to the regular points travelers would earn for their flight. Free Spirit members earn 6x points for every $1 spent on their flight, while Free Spirit Gold elites earn 10x points per $1 spent on their flight. For “À La Smarte” upgrades, points earning increases to 12x per $1 spent for base members, up to 20x per $1 spent by Gold members.

Do I Want 7,500 Free Spirit Points?

The promotion comes at a precarious time for Spirit Airlines. While they are working to attract those flyers feeling alienated by Southwest Airlines “corporate” changes, Spirit is also trimming flights and staff amid their Chapter 11 Bankruptcy reorganization. According to Business Insider, the carrier is ending service to 15 cities, including Minneapolis, Oakland, Portland, San Diego, and Seattle. Spirit is also trimming flights to Las Vegas, where they are the second biggest carrier by operations (Southwest is number one).

Spirit still operates service to major cities across the United States and ports across Central and South America, giving them a large footprint for leisure travelers. Additionally, the airline says the 7,500 points can be redeemed for as many as three one-way flights (your actual value may vary), though they don’t say exactly what routes could qualify.

If you’re a regular Spirit flyer and are already planning on a trip this Fall, it’s worth it to plan around this promotion. Although the fact that it doesn’t cover the Thanksgiving holiday is a downside (or a positive, depending on how you feel about one of the craziest travel days on the calendar), the points certainly offer value. Plus, bonus points (usually) result in bonus value!
